Strays

This is a sad article. There are about half a million cats living homeless in Toronto. They get sick easily and their food is what they find in garbages. People are frustrated at how little the city is doing for them. These cats are either strays, or former pets, that the owners just decided they didn't want anymore. As the article says "Cats are astonishingly effective breeders, and spaying one female can prevent the birth of 36,000 kittens within just five years." The whole thing is just really sad and I feel that this is a good article to spread around because maybe it will help.
